The discussion will be moderated by members of the Steedman Fellowship Committee: Bill Wischmeyer (Chair, Senior Lecturer in architecture), David Polzin (BA89), Robert McCarter (Ruth and Norman Moore Professor of Architecture), and Bruce Lindsey (Dean of Architecture).

Submissions for the 2012 Steedman Competition will be featured in an exhibition in Steinberg Hall Gallery.

Sponsored biennially by the College of Architecture in the Sam Fox School, the Steedman Competition is open to young architects from around the world. Winners receive a cash prize to support study and research abroad. For 2012, the first place award is $50,000—up from $30,000 in 2010—making it one of the largest competition prizes in the United States.
