Undergraduate Program

The Undergraduate curriculum consists of a concentration of studio art courses in two-year components, the introductory CORE program and majors. In addition, courses in art history, literature, social science, and natural science or math are required and provide a well-rounded educational experience.

The College of Art subscribes to the standards for the BFA and MFA degrees as set forth and accepted by the College Art Association of American and National Association of Schools of Art and Design.

Students can also apply for the University Scholars Program, which admits selected students to our four-year undergraduate program in art at the School of Art and to a graduate program leading to a Master of Arts in Teaching degree through the Department of Education in Arts & Sciences. More information is available in the University Scholars Program brochure.
